  1. X-Files Movie Fight the Future Microsoft Plus! Desktop Theme V1.1

  3. To Install:
  4.  
  5. The X-files Movie theme and all its components will
  6. automatically install on your computer by double clicking
  7. on its self-extracting zip file: xfilemv.exe. You will be prompted
  8. on where to unzip files to. If you downloaded a .zip version of this
  9. theme use Winzip to extract the files. Make sure the "use folder names"
  10. box is checked. Exact to C:\
  11.  
  12. FOR BOTH EXE AND ZIP VERSIONS, PLEASE KEEP THE DEFAULT EXTRACT TO AT C:\. 
  13. This will install the theme and its components automatically on most 
  14. computers. If you have changed your Microsoft Plus! default folder
  15. locations (typically, C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes), you will 
  16. need to move the files to your new default location.

  18. The theme-related files will be automatically extracted to 
  19. C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\X-Files Movie (new folder will be 
  20. automatically created)
  21.  
  22. The My X-files theme file will be extracted to 
  23. C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes
  24.  
  25. You will need to install the xfiles.ttf truetype font in order
  26. for the theme to look its best. To do so, open your Control Panel,
  27. Fonts folder and click on File, Install Font. Browse till you reach
  28. the X-Files Movie folder and select the xfiles.ttf font. Click on
  29. install.

  31. There is no associated screensaver.

  33. NOTE 1: THEME WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY IF THE THEME COMPONENTS 
  34. ARE NOT PLACED IN A FOLDER CALLED "X-FILES MOVIE" WITHIN YOUR
  35. THEMES FOLDER. KEEPING THE DEFAULT SETTINGS WILL AUTOMATE THIS.

  37. NOTE 2: ALTHOUGH THE THEME WILL LOOK WORK IN 256 COLOR MODE, IT 
  38. WILL LOOK BEST IN EITHER HIGH COLOR OR TRUE COLOUR.

  42. Open Control Panel, Desktop Themes and select X-files Movie
  43. from the Themes pulldown list.
